HTH Pool Care Algae Guard Ultra Plus — Liquid, 28 fl oz — Pool Algaecide for All Pool Types

I received this product free in exchange for my honest review. The day we were preparing to open our pool, I received HTH Pool Care Algae Guard Ultra. It arrived in an easy to open bottle with clear instructions and enough product for 2 doses. My pool walls did have a little green so after brushing and vacuuming the pool I followed the easy instructions on the bottle. The grandkids were going to be swimming that afternoon and it said it was safe after a short time. Yay! There were no harsh smells, it did not even for a second cause a cloudy film so I got in and so did the kids. We could not detect any difference in the water, it felt great! It's now 2 weeks later and no signs of algae so I would say it's very effective and I'm happy with the product. The only thing I hate about this product is the price. Other than it costing so much, it works great. I have struggled with algae each summer since getting my pool and thins stuff clears it right up. After 1 bottle of this in the pool and some brushing, a couple days later my pool is crystal clear and looks amazing for at least a month. I know this says 3 months, but I obviously have some issues balancing my chemicals. I have had green and mustard algae and this has handled both with no problem. It takes the whole bottle, but this stuff WORKS! I have no doubt, if you have any amount of algae in your pool, this will resolve your issue. I will have to update my review next season when the algae comes back and I have to release this beast on it again.
