I received an error code on my clothes washer E01 F06. I watched a video and they said that this controller blew because some water particulates got stuck in the intake screen and caused the fault. Sure enough, i checked the intake screens, and the cold one had some junk in the filter. i cleaned the filter and ordered this controller. it was easy to install. Just 3 wires had to be transferred to the new controller. simple.

Replacement works great, error code F06 E01

Issue fixed after motor control board(MCB) replacement. I shopped around and Walmart had the best price and shipment schedule. I liked having Walmart return policy as a backup, just in case things didn't workout for DIY repair. Shipping was very fast, ordered on Wednesday and got it on Sunday delivery (didn't know UPS delivered Sundays with free shipping, nice surprise). Had error codes F06 E01, then other series of errors also F08 E03, F08 E01, F05 E02. I'm assuming those subsequent errors are communication errors between MCB and ECU. To be sure this will fix the issue, takeout your current board out (many videos in youtube on how to remove), then pullout circuit board from white plastic housing. Mine had clear burn mark on circuit board burn mark on white housing where circuit board nearly makes contact. Washer is running OK, 4th wash so far. I am giving breaks in between washes as caution though :-)

Walmart truly has everything my washer mother board took a drive on me. I search the manufacturer website and this same part was $435 dollars while at Walmart it was on $210 a big difference and this product works well no issues Im glad I can wash again.
