Café™ 30" Smart Touch-Control Induction Cooktop - CHP95302MSS

This cooktop replaced a Dacor gas cooktop. We hated the gas because it was difficult and time consuming to clean. As we explored options we realized that all new gas cooktops continue to be oppressively difficult to clean. We bought the Cafe to avoid that burden and we couldn't be happier. Messy grease splattered meals clean up in less than two minutes with just a damp paper towel or a quick cooktop spray and wipe. Wow! Finally, the best part of cooking with induction is the even distribution of heat to the cooling pan. There are no cold spots or hot spots, just easily controlled even distribution of heat.

Save yourself the burden of analysis paralysis as both me and my husband have already gone through this tedium. We both love this stovetop, end of story. We had to upgrade our electrical from 30 to 40 amp breaker but that is needed for pretty much any good induction stovetop. We are both 60 yrs old and had no problem with the bluetooth technology or learning the ways of a new heat source. Hopefully this model stays in the GM rotation.
