For Moen, product feels chintzy as most of it is plastic with a chrome colored finish. For what we paid a contractor for the Spa package (which includes TS4211, S6335, AT2199, A725, 3667EP , 3330, 10154, S6335,) I expected a better made unit!
Initial install was incorrect; handle was loose and plumber said that was the way it was supposed to be (oh, really!!), and then after the new shower caulk had cured, we tried the valve and no water came out. Then I read that you have to pull out the valve stem to start the water; I thought that meant to pull out just the handle so that didn't work. Had to have another plumber from the contractor's company come by. This is what he had to do: Shave off the white stopper and tighten the bonnet screw afterward. Then had to tighten the handle with a hex wrench (wrench provided with unit didn't even fit - not sure what that hex wrench fits on the unit) but plumber had one to fit and tighten. Then he showed me that you have to pull out the stem entirely to get the water to flow. At least when he shaved off the white stopper it brought the handle and collar a bit closer to the
plate. It does not sit close to the plate, is about 1/2 inch away. Looked awful when first installed, but is closer now with the rework. Wow, should not be this difficult. Would have to reconsider Moen in the future. Looks nice and has a nice stream both from the stationery head and the wand head and nice that there are different levels on the bar to place the hand held.
