LG 48" UltraGear 120Hz OLED Gaming Monitor with Anti-Glare Low Reflection 0.1ms R/T - 48GQ900-B

Large, great quality, frame rate is great. I've had this since mid2022 and the usage time is around 3400hrs at this point. Zero evidence of burn in or other issues. The built in speakers are surprisingly decent but I assume that's a vestigial but from basically being a converted TV, so if you need to use those they are pretty good. My only complaint is some of the life extending features like auto-dimming or image cleaning can be a bit aggressive. The size is great as well. Who needs an ultrawide display when you can just have an utterly massive screen?

The size is overall perfect for a deep desk. It is large enough to be used at UHD 100% scale which means the screen has glorious screen real estate equivalent to four HD monitors. The image is immersive and brilliant. The monitor is placed at the back of my 31 inch deep desk and it fills my vision without being fatiguing. It is OLED, so all the benefits and conpromises apply. The instant motion clarity and deep three dimensional contrast make any game look amazing. The matte display finish is the best on the market. I have found it to be plenty bright despite the ABL. The OLED image cleaning happens automatically after you end a computer session. I had to do a panel refresh in OLED care options out of the box due to vertical artifacts. That cleared right up. I have very much enjoyed the included remote as it makes all the necessary daily operations fun and easy to accomplish. The included headphone jack is high quality and also accommodates microphone input. A monitor this size requires a new way of thinking about monitors. Any other computer monitor will be a tiny cramped thing, with terrible scaling, and non immersive size. It is no secret that many people have to use two or three monitors to get productive. Not so with this monitor. Everything is so sharp, immersive, and easy to view. I would argue that almost anyone could see the appeal provided they have the desk space. I will never go back to a 27 inch monitor. No it is not a TV because it doesn't have a TV operating system, or TV processing. It automatically sleeps and wakes, which is very important. Overall, it has been an amazing experience. Especially considering the price.
