Trim Kit - Excellent IF you get correct model numb

Bought the JX36Dss trim kit. Did not fit. 1" too tall for my new microwave. Noticed the kit comes in 3 sizes and the JX36Bss kit fit perfectly. The store swapped kits out without extra charge. GOT TO GET CORRECT MODEL SIZE. DesiDesign rated it a 1-star, but her kit was the wrong size.

OTR Trim Kit

Trim Kit OTR 36 Inch JX36BSS

As others have mentioned, the trim kit is NOT flush with the front of the microwave. Additionally, we have had two kits, and both came with a permanent smudge on the lower left piece. The retailer said all left panels appear like this due to manufacturing. I contacted GE with my concern and was on hold 30 minutes before they disconnected.

This is super overpriced

The filler kit is almost the same price as the microwave. It is just two pieces of metal. The fact that GE makes people pay this much to fill in a hole left by the 36" microwave that they chose to discontinue is not good treatment of GE customers.
