It was extremely easy to install and came with an extra filter. I purchased it because I have well water and even with all the filtration it goes through it's not the best on the hair so this makes it much nicer and getting the shine back. It also give great water pressure, we didn't have the best water pressure but with this shower head you wouldn't be able to tell.
