Easy replacement procedure

Very easy to install. This is my second cartridge in the last 10 years. Has there been improvements to increase the life of the cartridge? I would be interested in knowing. What is the warranty for this item? Thanks.

good, but...

The product is decent although not exemplary. The original product was purchased in 1995 and has needed to be replaced at least 5 times since then. When it's originally installed, it glides in and out quite easily, but as time goes on, it gets more difficult to push in as the lubricant wears off. Also, as the parts wear, it starts to drip water. This is the main issue I have with this. Perhaps better designs have been developed in the last 15 years that don't leak after a while (one would hope), but replacing the entire valve assembly would be a real pain. It would be nice if Moen could redesign this cartridge so it wouldn't need to be replaced every 2-3 years.

TERRIBLE! 2 CARTLIAGES REPLACED THIS YEAR ALONE!

TERRIBLE! JUST ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! HAD A PLUMBER INSTALL THE FIRST ONE IN JULY OF THIS YEAR! AND ONLY LASTED FOR A FEW MONTHS BEFORE HAVING TO CALL THEM BACK AND THEY INSTALLED ANOTHER BRAND NEW ONE! IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT MOEN AS THEIR WARRANTY HAS A LIFETIME GUARANTEE!
