HTH 3-inch Chlorine Tablets Advanced — Tablets (Form), 25 lb — Chlorinating tablets (pool chemical type) to sanitize pool water

I bought the 25 pound HTH Advanced 3" tabs because it was best value for money and it was time to give a different brand a try. Ordered online and picked up in store. The name brand that I had used for previous 4 years did not keep my pool clean, clear, nor free of algae even though it had algaecide and chlorine in tabs. I had constant problems with that brand and spent a lot of money and time trying to keep pool clear and chlorine level up. Anyhow, I've been using the HTH Advanced for 2 months now. I am very pleased with HTH Advanced as it has kept pool clear and free of algae, even in the 100 degree humid weather we've had for past few weeks. Chlorine level is where it's supposed to be. I use 2 chlorine tablet floats in 18'x52" pool, one is half closed at bottom. I only need to refill floats every 7 to 10 days depending on weather and pool use.

the tabs work great, my 1st year using them and i like how they dissolve slowly. i used to just put liquid chlorine in and sunce using these i havent had to put any liquid in. they keep my 18' round pool at perfect chlorine levels. however, the stupid box. i have arthritis in both my hands and carpal tunnel so it is literally impossible to open the darn box. I have to grab tools to open the stupid box and my hands hurt all day afterwards. I will be looking for a product that doesnt require me to injure myself just to open it
