- An essential tool for homes with pets, the Pet Gate is Extra Wide providing a convenient, chew-proof way to contain and protect both your pet and home. It's made of heavy-duty, non-corrosive steel with a neutral white or black finish to complement most decors. The extra-wide walk-through pet gate includes a lever-style handle with a one-touch release safety lock that lets you open and close it easily, allowing for convenient and frequent use. It's also expandable accommodating openings between 29.5" to 40.5" and features a pressure mount system that eliminates the need for drilling holes into walls. In addition, the Carlson Pet Gate, Extra Wide, features an 7.6" x 10.1" door that lets smaller animals pass through while keeping everyone else out. It's also lead-free and non-toxic making it a safe and effective way to restrict pets, and even children from entering certain areas of the home. Some assembly is required.

Gate perfect for my toddlers room !
This gate is so great ! It fit average doors without the extenders and slightly larger doorways with them . It is easy to install and doesn't damage the door frames . I did not try it on stairs but I would recommend if you were to try it I would use the wall holders too . I am not using them because I have an apartment. I highly recommend this gate for its sturdiness ! It is a little challenging to open even for adults but once you figure it out it isn't too bad.

Use this for my dogs to keep out of room %26 not having to keep door closed. I was able to assemble this with ease. I did however read the helpful comment in instruction, to NOT cut the zip cords holding gate together until you installed it. I love the auto close %26 door open either way. Took me a hot second to remember to push button %26 lift when opening. My others are different. I now can leave door open to room %26 Dog out.
