HART 12-Foot Chrome Tape Measure

Great every day carry tape measure. Unfamiliar with the Hart brand, but seems as good as Stanley or other major brands, if not better. 12' tape is small enough to carry for "just in case I need to measure." Like the "inner-inch" markings. They make it easy to discern the 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" measures. And the tape is a robust 3/4" wide! The price is good for the quality and features.

The Hart compact 12 foot 1/2" tape measure is excellent to carry in a vehicle in a map pocket, console or glove compartment as it takes up a small amount of room. You never know when you may need to measure a possible new purchase to make sure it will fit in the vehicle you are driving. This tape measure is also just the right size to fit in that drawer we all have inside the home for a few sometimes needed tools around the house. The Hart tape opens smooth and retracts as it should and also has a thumb operated sliding lock to hold the tape measure in position. There is a pattern in the top of the case that helps to make it easier to hold onto also. Oh, and don't forget the belt or pocket clip on the back that makes it handy to carry with you hands free. This is a quality tool in a compact size which is just right for many uses.
