Don't buy it!

This adapter worked for all of about 2-minutes! When I first plugged it into my iMac and external monitor, there were a few flickering horizontal lines thru the displayed background picture, then no picture at all. Very disappointing! Then, when I went to unplug the adapter from the iMac, the plastic casing around the plug came loose. The ONLY upside to this transaction was that it arrived much sooner than they said it would via site-to-store.

Terrible

Only worked for five months and then quit working. The other adapter I had worked for about 3 years! I would recommend spending a little bit more money for a nicer adapter that will work for years instead of five months.
