Babish 10" Stainless Steel Tri-Ply Double Riveted Fry Pan in Silver

This stainless steel fry pan seems to be made of good quality materials. It's fairly heavy and has a card with extensive care and use directions. Doesn't have any non stick coating. Pan is entirely stainless steel, no plastic handle. Directions say to hand wash for best results but you can put it in the dishwasher.

This is my first time trying a stainless steel pan and Babish is well known for there quality pots pans used in many restaurants. This 8 inch heavy duty pan, has a easy to grip handle and made with a 3 ply metal bottom for even heating all across the pan and can go from stove to oven easily. I did some research about how to properly use stainless steel cookware before using and there is some good information as well as videos on curing your new pan. After reading the enclosed instructions from curing, to washing and caring for your stainless steel pan, I did a quick cure, with just heating the pan on medium heat, waited till the pan heated up, I turned off stove and poured enough veg. oil to cover bottom, swirled around, let set a few minutes. wiped pan and sides, but I know in time of continued use it will only get better with use There is no need to cook on Hi, start medium, increase to what work best for your cooking.
