i love these we lit these and the colorful one's for the anniversary of my mother in laws passing. and, they lit up the sky beautifully, the size of them as they expand is surprisingly big as well

they came quicker than i expected. ordered for a "celebration of life" moment once the cremation is done. its going to be upbeat and a wonderful send off for the deceased who wanted no grieving as she suffered enuff during her long battle with kidney disease. we are gathering at her beautiful garden to release the lanterns. i had plenty of time to look the lanterns over %26 try to figure out how to do it. surprisingly each lantern comes individually with instruments in each one. I think/hope on "the night" it goes off as simple as lighting the block %26 the wind %26 Maureen will take it to her. The quality seems sturdy enuff that each person should be able to write their own msg using just a felt marker of their choice. i bought extras so i can pracice tonight.! I ordered from Temu %26 Esty the same lanterns but these are bigger and sturdier AND cheaper. There needs to be a kit. This form of putting a loved one to rest is challenging. These lanterns, Butterfly or Dove releases are the wave of the future. Included in each individual lantern together with the simple should be a long wooden match or a candle lighter AND a magic marker which would be all inclusive for each person. They can do all together or take it home to light at a lata time. such a beautiful way to include at Christmas, birthday etc. Just love them.
