Works Like a Charm Against All Cycles of Aphids

Works like a charm. If you take certain plants indoors for winter, this is the best solution for making sure you don't infest the plants you already have indoors with insects, esp aphids. It works at the root level %26 kills those harmful insects that can take over all of your indoor plants in no time at all. Before you realize it, the plants are half dead because their young hatch in the soil %26 feed off the plant roots. It smells bad, but works great. If you don't want your indoor dwelling to stink, its best to treat at least a week or two prior to bringing them indoors.

I bought this product a few months ago with the intention to use it during the winter when I bring in to house plants. One is a Christmas cactus and the other a pothos ivy. After the hanging plants have been outside for 9 months, you can bet they're full of all sorts of hatching insects. Using these granules as per instructions, I've had no problems this year with indoor gnats which are always the most prevalent. Historically, I've used full-strength neem oil with a dropper top and had the same good results, although a little bit messier. I've also tried the cute cutouts of sticky insect traps. These are almost as effective as neem oil and the Bonide granules. I'm sticking with the granules for a while. Btw, this product is only for houseplants, not edible food plants. I wish Bonide would develop a granular treatment for indoor herbs and veggies grown in AeroGardens and DIY hydroponics.

Easy to use, but gnats are still around.

I brought my patio plants indoors for the winter and I have fungus gnats, even though my house is very dry. I tried the yellow sticky cards and bonide treatment on the houseplants, and the gnats are still here. It is easy to apply. I have used several rounds of treatment but so far without success.
