Perfect for turkey hunting
It's not Wisconsin turkey season, I know! For deer season I would have rather gone with the tripod version. It will serve the purpose for birds, because its a bit more mobile, I believe I would like the stability of a tripod for deer season.

Works good....for a while.....
The upper twist lock would not unlock during only my second season using it. I get to my ground blind, take it off my pack and the upper extension will not unlock WHEN I NEED IT MOST. Fortunately I had a trekking stick strapped to my pack I use when hauling out elk quarters for stability. (Us old guys need that, don't laugh, you will to one day). I was able to improvise with that. Later at camp the Havoc finally unlocked, but then would not relock. I now have to replace it. Probably won't buy this one.

Worst Ever
I purchased this 3 days ago. Got it home and removed the wire ties, followed the simple instructions and the bottom sleeve all but fell out and will not tighten, so it is nothing more than just a floppy piece of painted aluminum.
