I am so impressed with this dryer! I've been wanting a dryer for my hiking boots. They get soaked regularly. I've been skeptical of the stand dryers but when I saw this dryer at the lower price I thought I'd give it a shot. It's amazing! It's quiet, unobtrusive, and effective. What a great buy!! I literally had standing water in my heavy leather work shoes. I poured it out, put the dryers in, and set it for 12 hours. It took 14 but it got them dry with no damage or smell!

For the price these are great! They dried 2 pair of very wet boots in 2 days. I set the timer to 8hrs and walked away. The next morning my boots were warm and dry. I can't speak for reliability as i have only had this for 2 weeks
