I would definitely recommend this Bissell to my friends.
My 97-year-old father lives next door to me, so I'm responsible for the upkeep of the carpet in both of our houses. Sometimes he remembers to take his shoes off when he comes in after weeding his flower garden and sometimes he doesn't. The spray carpet cleaner just wasn't up to the cleaning jobs. I have loved my ProHeat 2X Lift-Off Upright Carpet Cleaner! It has industrial strength cleaning, and is well built, but it is light enough to carry between our two houses. The instructions were easy to understand and follow. The operation, the movable parts, the connections were all very intuitive. It is easy to remove and replace parts to clean or refill. I am very happy to have my new Bissell cleaner.
