BFGoodrich G-Force Sport COMP-2 Ultra-High Performance Tire

Developed for the drivers of sporty coupes, sports cars, performance sedans and modern muscle cars, the BFGoodrich's Ultra High Performance Summer tire provides the next level of control and fun. The g-Force Sport COMP-2 is designed to accelerate faster, corner harder and brake shorter in dry and wet conditions. Perfected by years of BFGoodrich g-Force racing, where success on the street has begun with winning on the track, the g-Force Sport COMP-2 tires have been chosen by the Ford Racing High Performance Driving School at Miller Motorsports Park and Skip Barber Racing for their schools and race series.

Employing BFG's silica-infused COMP-2 compound that is derived from racing technology, the g-Force Sport COMP-2 helps provide sharp steering response along with wet and dry grip without sacrificing treadwear. The tire’s tread design has shoulder grooves, directional g-Hook intermediate grooves, and wide circumferential rain channels that causes resistance to hydroplaning as well as increasing wet traction. Featuring BFGoodrich's Performance Racing Core (PRC), the internal structure is reinforced by an enhanced ETEC (Equal TEnsion Containment) System that stabilizes the tread area optimizing the contact patch for traction at speed and hard cornering. To improve lateral stability and cornering precision, the g-Control sidewall inserts provide up to a 40% higher sidewall stiffening structure.
