I'm shopping to replace this

I am currently, unhappily using this seat. Technically, the slow close feature works fine and the hinges have stayed in place. However the plastic is thin and flimsy - my repairman set a wrench on the lid and it dented . However the worst feature is that the underside of the bottom seat has RIDGES, which leaves corners and grooves to clean! Eek! I am shopping here today for a replacement.

Thank you for your review, we apologize for the problems you are experiencing with your toilet seat. Please be advised Bemis Manufacturing offers a one year manufacturing defect warranty that is handled through the location of purchase. Please return your defective seat to the store for immediate warranty exchange. A receipt is not needed. Place your item in a clear plastic bag. The retail store does not have to handle the toilet seat in any way, other than to dispose of it for you. They will simply view the damage and give you a new warranty seat in exchange. You may have the store call us at 800-558-7651 while you are there if they need assistance. We will instruct them to replace the seat for you.<br /><br />Kindest Regards,<br />Bemis Customer Service
