I've been looking for a new chair mat for awhile, to replace an ancient plastic one that was crumbling. This is a very stout piece of tempered glass that is much better than any plastic mat I've ever tried. I believe it will outlast me by many years. I'll have to put it in my will.

Thick Berber carpet in my office and me being a large guy resulted in the plastic mats cracking and breaking and ruining the carpet. Wheels on the office chair would break through and not roll. Was concerned about ordering this but it's rated for 400%23 and $200 cheaper than Amazon so I took a chance. Love this product. THICK solid glass and no worries about it breaking now. Used it for over 2 months and it doesn't move around and the coverage is perfect for me to move around my desk area. This is exactly what I was looking for.
