Bakerstone Pizza Oven - Excellent!

Love it, best way to make pizza at home. Have made over a 100 pies. This is my 2nd one and decided to go with the “Professional Series”. Will have to see if that makes any difference. First one would have lasted longer, but the bottom braces literally rusted out after 4 years, even though I covered it every time after use. So if they had been rust proof it probably would have lasted forever. Pizza stones never cracked and just needed scraping now and then. Be careful with the heat, too hot will burn the bottom of the pizza...quick. Also, suggest keep the toppings to minimum so the pie cooks through and isn't soggy. Takes a little practice to “launch” a pie since the opening is just a couple of inches, but that's why it cooks so well. Make sure to turn the pie after a minute or so, and keep turning it. Depending on your grill heat below, the oven may have ”hot spots”, so keep an eye on it and rotate often. Needed to buy a separate little cart to set the oven on when not in use to free up the grill. Overall excellent product and family loves the fresh out of the oven pizza!

Easy to use. Makes great pizza. Far better than the kitchen oven with a pizza stone. This will be my 2nd one. Need to be careful with the heat, too hot will burn the pizza...quick. Also, when putting the pizza in, keep the pie from touching the back of the oven. It'll stick and burn and be tough to rotate and pull out. Best to make the pie simple without a lot of toppings. Rotate after just a minute or two and keep turning to get the crust to your liking. Doesn't take long to cook so keep an eye on it. Bottom bracing rusted out after about 3 years even though it was covered all the time when not used. Still it's the best way to make pizza at home.
