Though retaining aluminum lower skins, the BAKFlip F1 employs heavy-duty FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) top skins for superior durability. Not only are these panels aesthetically pleasing, with their glossy textured finish, but they’re also impact-resistant with their rigid high-density foam core. The panels are also exceptionally stout, withstanding up to 400 pounds of evenly distributed cargo. This cover features high-quality aluminum side rails for added strength and an easy clamp-on installation. This design also promotes security—when closed, the cover automatically latches into the aluminum side rails, preventing thieves from prying at the cover’s sides for entry into the bed. If inclement weather is more of a concern than theft, the BAKFlip F1 has you covered…literally.
