All in all, it's a good quality charcoal. I get good flavor and a decent long cook on my Weber kettle with an Onlyfire ceramic charcoal basket grill basket and Spider Grill Venom thermostatic control. I have used several other brands of lump charcoal but always come back to B%26B; seems to be best value for my dollar.

I grill year round regardless of weather. I roll out my Kamado Joe, light the charcoal and enjoy the experience. This was my first time using this charcoal. I had been using Kamado Joe brand but finally tired of the lofty prices. I found this charcoal to be as good if not better. This is my new go to brand. Nice large pieces of charcoal instead of dust and scraps like most others sell. Great company and great product. Give them a try!
