Just use it
This is a great cleansing bar, gentle on your skin and with no residue. I use it every day and it keeps my skin soft and moisturized. It doesn't make my face feel tight. Since its ph is similar to our skin own ph, I wondered whether it would be fine for intimate use, and it is. There's no burning sensation or pain at all. None of the typical intimate cleansing gels sold in grocery stores have worked for me. This works.

XeraCalm A.D Ultra-Rich Cleansing Bar surpassed my expectations. My skin is a battleground, as I am a senior, fair, and a redhead with lifelong issues. I use this bar exclusively for face and body and have great news! Less redness, less itching, with a creamy texture and easy rinsing. My application consists of making a creamy lather in my hands until bubbles appear, then applying to the skin. And for sensitive skin; rinse multiple times with warm water. Same technique in the bath; heat up your room for comfort and only very warm bathwater. A great product; thanks Avene!
