I use many Aveda products as I need them. When you have curly and dry hair like me, different days and times of the year call for different products. My hair is fine-ish hair. I get frizzy in humid hot weather and hair gets straighter in dry hot weather. So this shampoo is my go-to on days when I need suds and a good wash to clean my hair, like if I have been in the garden and my hair is frizzy, dirty and tangly this is a great shampoo. I don't know if other curly girls do this but I almost always condition my hair before I wash it as a kind of relaxer. Yeah, I know it seem counter intuitive. But that is what works for me. condition, wash, condition/masque. I love this product line and I loved dry remedy shampoo which is now discontinued (which is the only shampoo i didn't have to condition before using).

My hair is starting to grey and the texture is changing. I've tried a number of shampoo options these past 4 years and not found a favorite. This shampoo and conditioner gives me a lot of volume without any frizz. After trying a sample I bought a full size.
