Sleep Studio 2" Orthopedic 5-Zone Foam Mattress Topper

I had looked at other mattress toppers that were much more expensive and decided to try this one. It comes shrink wrapped and needs to be opened and exposed to the air for about 48 hours, during which time it will expand to its normal size (I just laid it over the couch in the living room). It's comfortable to sleep on, but I noticed that it seems to retain warmth more than just the regular fabric mattress pad. The advantage there is that I haven't needed to turn on my electric blanket since I put it on, but it remains to be seen whether this will be an issue in the summer. I think that it's a good value for the price (so far) and would therefore recommend it.

I was looking for something to soften my hard mattress. I wasn't sure with the mixed reviews if this would work, but my back pain is almost nonexistent. I read that it can absorb heat and it does but not too much. It's been 80 degrees in my bedroom and I can still sleep comfortably. I've only had it for about a month, so hopefully it will last a long time.
