Much better than expected, would buy again

When I opened the box it looked to be complicated but once started it was straight forward and easy to put the mantel together. The fireplace itself was one piece and required no construction. It was purchased to sit in front of a non working gas fireplace. It would have required knocking down a wall of my home to replace that gas fireplace at considerable cost. I thought this might give me the ambiance of a wood burning fireplace and it does just that. The cabinet is the perfect size and the fireplace itself looks pretty good, especially from a distance and it puts out more heat that I expected. For the cost it is the perfect solution for me. I would definitely buy it again.

It comes in two different boxes/ shipments, so don't panic like I did. Very easy to put together, took me about 30 minutes to do the box and to place the firebox I had my husband drill the four screws in. Super easy and it looks great!! Puts out good heat and flames are very realistic. I love it! The one thing we were sad about when we bought our house is that it didn't have a fireplace. But now we do!!
