It's perfect!

I had been having problems with chipmunks and squirrels and did some research on how to keep them out of my birdfeeders. My research states that they don't like heat, but it didn't hurt the birds. I decided ok, simple enough and added some hot sauce to my birdseed, but that didn't work. I came across this bird food, I bought it, and much to my surprise, it worked!

With the heat of this summer, birds and squirrels are hungry and thirsty. This mix brought an abundance of birds to my yard of every size and color. While it says squirrels don't like it, I think because of our drought food is scarce to they are also taking in this food as well. Birds and squirrels together feasting. I purchased a total of 4 bags and will purchase more because this delightful food is saving our wildlife. Please add fresh water by your birdfeeder every day.

I had been adding Cayenne pepper to the seeds to keep the squirrels off of my hanging feeders. I dont have to do that with this seed and the birds love it! I DO feed the squirrels as well in a separate area on the deck. This does keep them from trying to get on my other feeders.
