Great quality at bargain price

This is actually an up-firing enclosure not down but to be honest I think that's better anyway. The hard plastic bottom of the rear seats keep the sound from being absorbed. This thing looks great and sounds great. I recommend filling with 1/2 to 1lb of polyfill or that "big box" thump and added clarity. One important note is it does effect the midgate folding. The midgate only goes about 75% flat now. You can still load plywood or a door still in cardboard (from experience) but if you have the AV tent you'll need to remove the box before heading out to camp unless you like sleeping on hills.

Perfect box for the Avalanche!

Lets start off with saying that this is actually an up firing box. It fits perfectly under the seat with zero modification. My fosgate R2SD2-10s fit nicely and powered by my R500X1D fill the cab of my truck with solid clean deep bass. I would def.say this is quality bass and not SPL. Shipment was on time, packaging was typical. Solid Build quality.
