Great Stands
These stands are well worth the money.. I have Sony Bookcase speakers sitting atop them, it's amazing how much the sound improves when the speakers are raised.. The height of the stand puts the tweeters of the speaker at ear level when sitting making for a greatly improved listening and/or movie experience on the cheap. Someone else rated these stands highly so I decided to follow that person's lead and was very happy I did.. Walmart.com also has a factory brochure on this, but like a lot of things on Walmart.com some basic things are wrong.. The factory brochure claims the stands weigh in at 33 LBS or so and I ordered thinking these were far superior to the other $59 stands that weigh around 15lbs., Walmart's own heading on the page makes it appear that there is only one stand (it don't say stands).. When I ordered the UPS tracking stated the weight was 16lbs so I came to the conclusion that it is 1 stand.. I promptly ordered another and to my surprise each box contains two, one was returned to the local store no questions asked. That said these stands are very sturdy, look sharp and I highly recommend them...

I spent a lot of time researching stands for my bookshelf speakers. By far this was the best value. Not only do they look good, they're simple to put together. My only negative issue might be the pads you put on the corner of the stands to stabilize the speakers, the adhesive is very strong. Should be a better way. Still, a great value!
