I'm in my early 80s and, ta-da!, now, again, in diapers! It's OK, we can deal with this. These diapers work. So far, I only need them during the day. Running my hands in running water... starts the flow. In other situations, instantly, without warning, I'm ... flowing. Out on a walk? No more need to panic, all is now well. For years I bought depends real-fit for my husband who is 100% urinary incontinent from prostate cancer. We spent a small fortune on these for the comfort and they would leak on his pants during the day and flood the bed pad twice during one night. We constantly washed clothes and bed pads. I switched to assurance b/c they were half the cost and so glad we did. They are just as comfortable and way more absorbent. The nighttime ones are even better! On long road trips, he wears the night time ones b/c they last for hours. I wish they came in a 32 pack like the regular daytime ones. I would probably buy only the nighttime ones for day and night use. Highly recommend! Too, I created a changing station using a walker (see uploaded photo), so my husband could change his underwear without my help. For years I sat on the edge of our bathtub with every underwear change, to help him put them on. This has been a lifesaver on my back and I no longer get up during the night if he has to change! Frankly he rarely gets up any more during the night using these underwear. We take the walker with us on road trips and camping in rv. If we stop to use public restroom, he can take the walker in with him. Hope this helps others remain independent.
