I have had my hair loc-ed up for 10 months now, and I have used this rice water for a large portion of the process. It leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and my hair hydrated without a lotta buildup. My loctition says that my hair is strong and thriving. Keep in mind that it doesn't have any fragrance (which is what I like), but might put off others due to the vinegar-like smell. It goes away after around 10-15 minutes. The smell doesn't linger in the hair. Also the old bottle was better than the one they switched to a few months ago. The hold on this one is harder to get a good grip on as you rotate around your head. But otherwise it's a great product for 4c hair.

I absolutely love this brand! this is my go to detangler. I don't use a brush - just the old finger comb. I love that it rinses out the sweat and pollution and adds all the good stuff like rice water and biotin. it's great when I don't have time to wash my hair. you can also use a scalp massager to really work the ingredients into the scalp. I never want to run out out of this - clean ingredients, great product, and great value
