I found this product to be very effective in both the frig andfreezer compartments. To be sure I discard the air freshners each month, not every three month. That system appears to be more efficent at preserving food longer, as well as freshingthe compartments. Since these air freshners are reasonably priced on the market, especially in bulk, (surf and price compare first) the hit to your budget is not bad considering your gleening better results.
