Wow.

First off I've used, Toro, Scag, Xmark, Cub Cadet and John Deere. This is the first Ariens I've had experience with. I'm very impressed with it. There's things I like and dislike about all those brands but I would put this up against them all. It's built like a tank but also took the time to add details for looks and ease of use. Everything feels solid and like you can put your trust in it. Ariens says it's for residential use but other than a different engine is a commercial mower. Haha. My buddy owns a lawn care business with only Scag and Wright mowers. He was impressed with my Ariens cut quality and build as well as little details like the oil change hose. Nothing against those mowers but for the price and features you get with this zero turn it is absolutely worth it.

First zero turn

I conducted extensive research, and the APEX 52 w/ Kawasaki offered the best of both worlds between a residential vs commercial mower. This is because the Ariens also ownes and manufactures Gravely mowers. I live in a subdivision with a small yard, less than an acre, and the mower is awesome. It takes me longer to trim the yard than mow, and I get the commercial quality and appearance. The machine is solidly constructed with a bulletproof deck, plus I've never seen mower blades that are as heavy duty as those installed from the factory. You definitely will not be disappointed with this purchase

Great mower...powerful and precise.

Bought this to allow for volunteers to mow a large community property. Easy to operate and train new operators. Mows heavy grass very well, with large discharge chute preventing clogging. While large, great maneuverability allows for easy close quarters operation.
