An Irish knit is just a classic and this items is no exception. The fit was its best feature as it passes comfortably over the hips. It is of medium thickness. The grey color is neutral and rather than boring, it is classy and allows the knit pattern to be the star. It did not hurt that there was a personal connection as we visited the Arin Islands on a one of our favorite vacations.
