The whole house filter has been great. The replacement of filters has been pretty simple. However, for the main unit, it would've been nice to have a basic set of instructions and diagram. For example, there is a distinct in and out flow direction. If I didn't look carefully, I never would've noticed it and likely would haveinstalled it backwards.

Peace of mind!

We recently bought a house and it was important to me to have no chlorine in the tap water. My family and pets can drink from any tap in the house, and there is no chlorine vapour in showers, laundry or dishwashing. Plus no other weird things for anyone with a heavy metal sensitivity. I have happily put my Brita into retirement. Before installing, make sure you have the space and get a quote from someone familiar with this type of installation. My plumbers were great, but it was a learning curve for them, plus a trip to the hardware store for the wall fasteners for the extra piping. Also be clear to your plumber that you want the exterior water taps excluded! Minor hiccups in the installation of a great product!
