I like this cube for a female betta or very small fish. If you decide to buy it, please monitor the water quality frequently, as smaller aquariums can experience rapid changes in water conditions, which may harm or even kill the fish. Water temperature can also fluctuate more quickly in smaller tanks. Use small decorations to ensure the fish has plenty of space to swim freely. Don't forget to add water conditioner and nitrifying bacteria. Place the aquarium in a warm (but not hot) area.

While described as small aquarium it has additional creative uses should you have a need. I added substrate and plastic plants and used it to house a young tarantula who is quite content in the space. Similarly one could use this space for a small table top terrarium.
