Great little hand vac for the price. Much lighter and more powerful than my previous Black & Decker hand vac that had a NiCad battery. One issue I have with this model is that you need to continually hold the power button to vacuum. Sometimes a little inconvenient.

I bought this device a few weeks ago. My other B&D vacuum cleaner began to have battery issues after 2 yrs of use. Not bad. I read the reviews for this new purchase and decided to give it a chance. My kitchen is being remodeled and since we are in the winter in Northern California it has been raining quite a bit. The workers are trekking in a lot of small debris so I use this portable vacuum cleaner daily. I have had no battery issues. Sure you have to hold down the on button, WOW what a chore! This product is designed to be used as I use it. Only a few minutes at a time. If you want to vacuum your house buy a bigger a non-battery appliance. I would definitely buy this product again.
