I have wanted a MacBook for awhile. But I couldn't afford one as they usually are very expensive. I definitely couldn't afford a brand brand now one. This might be a generation or two behind but it is a great computer and it was new not refurbished. And the battery life is amazing. My friend who is knowledgeable about Apple products said it was a good deal so I got it. And he was right I love it. The only thing I wish is that it was a touch screen. Lol I keep trying to use it as a touchscreen but it isn't. Definitely would recommend especially if your like me and can't afford a new new one way over $1000, since this was $699
