A dough hook for my Mixer!

I was very pleased to be able to match the dough hook with the older mixer that had been recently given to me. I make a lot of bread so I so appreciated the strength of the mixer. I had read the negative reviews about the coating on the hook. I questioned this and the staff at Kitchen Aid responded promptly and advised about being careful with the storage of the hook. Anyway, I was determined to make it work, but can you believe it. I dropped the hook with bread dough onto the side of the bowl and chipped it on the very first use. AGH! So I hope they can make these hooks out of stainless steel one day.
