In the house I purchased, there was a Bosch dishwasher already installed. I used in daily, since our household had 4 people, and dishes can accumulate quickly. When it was time to replace the dishwasher, I had looked at many different brands, and always came back to the Bosch brand. I absolutely love the third rack on top. All the little items I used to hand wash can now be washed in the dishwasher. It is so quiet when running, that I forget I turned it on! Until the beeps remind me the load is complete. I absolutely love this dishwasher, and I would have no qualms about purchasing a different Bosch appliance when the time comes. Thank you for all the updates, also.

To our total surprise, the first time we used the Bosch, the difference between the two dishwashers was deafening ! The Bosch was so quiet, that we honestly didn't know it was running. Last year we replaced the dishwasher in our second home. There was no discussion, the replacement was another Bosch. Guess what, still no sound.
