American Standard Seal Kit, Faucet, Includes Three Seals M960994-0070A

My nephew whom is a master plumber put his faucet in about a year ago for his grandfather (my dad). For a time it didn't leak. When I told him it was leaking he bought 2 kits from his supplier. We put one in. Worked for about 3 months then started leaking again. Put the 2nd one in, same thing. starting leaking. I bought 2 kits for this faucet in July of 2024 from American Standard. Placed the 3rd kit in and it didn't leak for a week then started leaking again. We've used food grade silicone around the O-Rings and the plastic ring that is at the base of the faucet neck to stop the leak. Still leaking. I'm not sure what the 3 white marks on the 2 O-Rings mean. There are no instructions on if these go in a specific direction when placed in the groove where they sit. My father is disappointed with this America Standard faucet. He has always said that he liked them and the styles he had to choose from. He will more that likely switch to another faucet maker and stop buying American Standard products.

I replaced these as part of a faucet rebuild that included the cartridge and sprayer diverter on a Cadet kitchen faucet. worked fine for a couple weeks, now its leaking from the base again. Shouldn't have wasted the time, just replaced the entire faucet.
