American Plastic Toys has been a favorite of mine due to this one product line, Gigantic Vehicles for indoor and outside use. Over the years I have snapped up every model I have found for use in a public school PreK setting. 3, 4, and 5 year olds do NOT need any more ride in or on toy vehicles powered by batteries or the like. They need toys to encourage body movement and fun to develop gross and fine motor skills, coordination, creativity, and interpersonal skills. This line of toys is "spot on". Durability is a matter of guidance and supervision. I do have to remind some high spirited children that these vehicles are made of plastic and not designed for smash and crash derbies.
