Good lava lamp, good price
I appreciate being able to get this style of lava lamp for $15. The metal isn't very thick, and you could probably press dents in it with your bare hands, but unless you're actively trying to do that it's perfectly fine. The cap is very light, similar to an empty coke can—I actually dropped and stepped on it and flattened it out completely. But I reshaped it and it was good as new. I should also mention I sanded the whole thing down and gave it a new finish. As far as lava lamps go, this one seems to be as good as any other. Works perfectly, the lava looks good and moves as you'd expect. I've kept it on for days at a time with no issues whatsoever. Would recommend.

It's exactly what my kid wanted. Perfect decor and night light all in one. Set up was simple, but I would recommend keeping it away from anything that could catch on fire or leaving it on for too long as it does get HOT. Also away from edges it's stable but will wobble if someone or something bumps it. And that would end up being super messy and dangerous because of the glass. Other than that highly recommended!
