The grommets are very well placed and seem to be very sturdy. My Son is an Independent Welder, he fixed me up with a beautiful stainless steel pole. This beautiful Flag was easy to hang and looks totally AWESOME! I Get many compliments on both it and the pole! The beautiful Eagle ornament that I had placed on top of the pole must've somehow fallen off during a storm and disappeared, I miss that Majestic Eagle 😔 Sincerely RH
