I have not ever had this item out of the box. I bought it to have wifi installed, but the company I had to use made me a better deal using their equipment. I had the Router/Modem more than 30 days, so Wal Mart will not refund my money. WalMart needs to extend their return policy for 90 days like everything else, maybe with certain stipulations or a restock fee.

All of my home WiFi issues went away as soon as I installed this higher end cable router/modem from Netgear. I have tried 2 cheaper unit previously but had connection issues in rooms near the far end of my 200 sq ft home even with 2 WiFi extenders being used. I also had frequent “buffering” on tv's in the house that were streaming. All these are resolved with the new router.

i have had my own modem / Router for Xfinity service for 8 years. It was time to upgrade. This unit to this point is doing a great job. I'm no gamer, but the unit handles 7 devices continually. My old unit was locking up from time to time. This one has no issues. It also gives 2 Wi-Fi connections. Standard and 5G connection. Most of the set-up had to be done by Xfinity, but after it was set up, I had no issues.
