[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been installing UPS systems for 8+ years, and this APC Smart-UPS X is my go-to for small to medium setups. The 2U rack/tower convertible design gives you flexibility if your setup changes, and the mix of outlet types (5-15R, 5-20R, and L5-20R NEMA) means you can plug in just about anything without adapters. The SmartSlot is perfect for adding remote monitoring, and the extended runtime actually works - one client stayed online through a 45-minute outage last month. It's a bit heavy, but that's the price of solid build quality. If you need reliable power protection with room to grow, this delivers every time.

Perfect for IDF

Provides enough backup power and protection for IDF assets to ensure uptime and accessibility of corporate resources. Great that these units can be used as a tower or installed in rack with minimal effort. Has a clear to read LCD screen in front as well.
