Hillsdale Furniture Fowler Wood Bar Height Stool, Sea White

My bar top is 40" high so I was looking for a stool that had a 30-31" seat height. The Fowler Wood Stool works great for my space. Seem well made. With the shorter back, these stools don't look as clunky as the stools I had been using with a taller back and darker stained wood. Also the white painted wood and grey cushioned seat goes well with my cottage design style. So many of the bar stools I ordered prior to these, were only 29" tall and when you sat down, sinking into the cushion, it was more like a 27-28" seat height which was too short for my bar height. The cushion on these stools is firmer but is still more comfortable than a stool with no cushion and only a wooden seat. Also, I am very impressed with Hillsdale Customer Service. The person I spoke with was very helpful and my call was answered on the 2nd ring. The first 2 stools I ordered arrived with defective parts so I called to see if I could order some replacement parts. I was told that you could not order only certain parts but the stools would still be under warranty and could be returned. The 2nd two stools I ordered had no defective parts and after studying the picture-only instructions closely, was able to assemble the stools fairly easily. I would suggest installing the side and front support rungs at the same time as attaching the two front legs, if you wait until steps 5 and 6, you will need to loosen the bolts on the front legs to put the rungs in place. Would highly recommend these bar stools and Hillsdale Furniture.
