Excellent over a firm mattress.
I love this product! I used to have an expensive mattress but it was too soft for my spine health. I decided I needed a firm one instead. I created the most comfortable bed I have ever owned with a very inexpensive firm mattress and the addition of a foam topper which I purchased at Walmart and this second mattress topper that fits like a fitted sheet. This topper fits like a fitted sheet and holds the foam topper in place snuggly so it doesn't shift around. It has 100% helped my back.

Better than memory foam pad.
For $50 this is a solid value. Because it is fitted it won't slip and move like the memory foam pads I've used in the past. I paid over $100 for a 3” memory foam pad that in a year was shredded. This fitted pad is not as thick as the memory foam but for me with my mattress it is perfect and does help keep you cooler than without it. It's more like a well padded fitted sheet.

man when I say wowza I mean it. I hated my mattress it was too soft. just that little extra cushion made a huge difference. did I mention that it doesn't hold pet odors? I have 2 dogs that sleep in the bed and you can't tell(except the fur on the sheets)
